陈宁,清华大学理学学士、管理学硕士,澳大利亚新南威尔士大学营销学博士。现就职任教于新西兰坎特伯雷大学市场营销系,博士生导师,清华大学体育产业发展研究中心研究员。主要研究方向为旅游体育消费者心理和行为,以及更广泛的基于人地关系的环境心理学。

   

讲座摘要:

In spite of the increasing conceptual development of corporate social responsibilities (CSR) theory, the potential impact of key individuals within an organization, from founders and senior managers to general employees, on CSR remains under explored. Grounded in social identity theory and stakeholder theory, this study investigates the relationships between three dimensions of individual/personal social identity and business performance of an organization, mediated by four types of CSR. Based on an empirical study on 494 individuals from over 400 firms, this study tests these proposed relationships using structural equation modeling (SEM) and finds that three levels of personal/individual social identity provide three distinctive paths leading to business performance considering the various effects of CSR. Corporate roles (e.g., founders, senior managers, and general employees) are further distinguished and tested in terms of their moderating effects on the structural model, suggesting the contingent effects of corporate positions.
